I'm currently finishing up my MA in nonfiction writing at PSU. Before that, I studied English Literature & Creative Writing at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I'm a published writer, with book reviews, essays, and magazine features appearing in the Oregonian, Portland Monthly magazine, the Iowa Review, and elsewhere. As a GA, I've taught writing classes at PSU including WR 121 (intro to college writing), WR 214 (beginning nonfiction writing) and WR 222 (research writing). I've also interned for Tin House (a national literary journal) and Wordstock (Portland's annual literary festival).
